Microdermabrasion (also called micropeeling) is an exfoliating procedure. It is performed using a diamond-tip handpiece, which removes residual dead skin cells. As a result, the skin is cleansed of any impurities – excess sebum, etc.– that may cause blackheads or even acne lesions. The precision of the instrument reveals brighter, smoother, and softer skin, which additionally demonstrates better permeability for any active ingredients.
We recommend microdermabrasion particularly to those struggling with excess sebum, acne and/or blackhead breakouts. Additionally, microdermabrasion helps reduce the appearance of shallow scars, discolouration and early signs of skin ageing. This procedure will leave your skin cleansed, oxygenated, and revitalised even after the first treatment, but for best results we recommend undergoing a series of treatments – up to a dozen, depending on your individual needs.
